My baby is in Kindergarten!!!

After much anticipation, the day is finally here! I had no idea what to expect from him (or myself!!) He has been at a Montessori school for 4 years now, so he is used to being away from me. He is still my little mamas boy though! His teachers at Mont. have been like family to us, and I didnt know how he would now!
He sure doesnt look nervous or scared (can we go with no tears the rest of the morning?!?!?)"Mom..hurry up!"
Doesnt he look so handsome?!?!?

Him and Skylah walking to school! Thank goodness for her...she has really prepped him this last year keeping him "up to date" with all the stuff she does at school! I really think she helped ease him into this year!
Corky and Skylah..Miss 2nd Grader!!
We finally made it!!!
I am happy (and very PROUD) to report we had no tears...from either of us!!! lol

He went straight in and put his snack, lunch, and backpack up and sat in his seat! Thank goodness we had meet the teacher night, because he felt like he knew what he was doing today!!

My munchkin looked at me and said..."see you after school mom..I love you!"

No tears, no sad puppy faces, no hanging on to my leg...nada...just a smiling little guy about to color!!!

We'll see how Thursday goes..thats the last day I get to walk him into his class! Wednesday we have our "Boo Hoo" breakfast!

I cant wait to get him after school and see how his first day went! He will probably tell me.."I dont remember..we played outside, ate lunch, had snack!"

Hope everybody else had a great 1st Day back too!

That's so great he did well! We had an overwhelming amount of parents walk their 7th and 8th graders to their first class on the first day. Hopefully you will enjoy him being in school then! He is a handsome little boy! I am sure he will love school! And it's great you didn't cry....I did when Krystyn called to tell me Izzy said bye-bye to her paci. She is growing up too fast!

he's adorable... when I took ours for their first day, I thought it would be no big deal - all these moms were around watching their kiddos go in and weeping.. and I was ok til I got back in the car, and then doggone it, I started having leaky eyes myself... so proud of the little guys, and yet it's a little hard sometimes to let them go...
