Once upon a time, there was this girl who LOVED to blog. Somewhere between February and October, she fell off the band wagon. She still got on and read everyones blogs, but she lost interest in updating her own....
LOL
Heck, I even tried to do the 30 day blog, and I barely made it to day 14! haha
I have a bunch of things coming up that I am super excited about, so I thought I would start with a Thursday 13!!
Hope there are still a few of you that read this!!

Landon and I are going to the TEXANS game this Sunday! As you all know, I am a huge football fan, so this always makes me happy :)
My Birthday is coming up and we are going painting with a bunch of friends! Hard to believe I was about to leave for NYC this time last year. 30 has been a wonderful year (one of the best yet!)
BREAKING DAWN comes out in 20 MORE DAYS!! I already have my tickets to the midnight showing and then to the Friday afternoon showing too! Yes, I know..I'm a bit addicted ;)
Football playoffs! Landon's team has been doing really good this year, and we are going to the playoffs! We still have 2 more regular season games, but I'm looking forward to all the fun that it involves!!
Halloween!! I love this time of year! My lovely little innocent child has decided to be Gene Simmons this year. Oh lord..since when do 8 year olds like KISS?!?! Maybe I should be worried, but his costume is hysterical!! Pics to follow!
Fall..which of course means fall festivals, pumpkin lattes, and wonderful weather!
Christmas!! I have been picking up things here and there, and have Landon almost done! Unfortunately, I end up spending more this way, but I sure do feel like I'm doing something good! lol
Tomorrow is my Friday this week! Landon has a field trip on Friday and I took the day off! yay!
X-Factor..I am totally loving this show! Cant wait to see how it ends up!
One of my best friends, Natalie and her husband are having a BABY BOY!! They have been trying to have a baby for a while and I'm so glad to be adding another boy to our bunch!!
To get back to the gym..hard to believe I am looking forward to that, but I actually miss it. (wow..cant believe I just typed those words!!)
Losing some more weight! I have lost 30 lbs, but have been stuck now for a few months..ugh
98 DAYS UNTIL I LEAVE ON A CRUISE!! Girls Trip 2012 is booked for Cozemel and I couldnt be happier!!!

Well, hope to hear from a few of you, and if all goes as planned, this girl will hopefully be updating again soon ;)

This is by all means not the best picture of us we have ever taken, but it was from New York and we were having the times of our lives!!

This is Natalie and I at my birthday a little over 2 years ago.

She is one of my best friends too and we always have a great time!!

Hate to say this, but I am not an animal person...AT ALL!!

I would be fine with no pets in my house! (which I am quite content with now!)

Day 8 - A song to match your mood.

Anything COUNTRY..I have such a passion for country music. I listen to it literally ALL day, from the time I wake up until the time I get home.

My Pandora station slips in a few non country things, but I'm just your typical country girl :)

My favorite song changes daily, but anything by Easton Corbin, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Joe Nichols, ect makes me happy!!!

Day 9 - A photo of the last item your purchased.

My new iPhone 4!!! I have had an iPhone for almost 2 year and have loved it.

I finally upgraded and couldn't be happier!!

Day 10 - A photo of your favorite place to eat.

I am a new found lover of sushi, so currently my favorite place is Nagoya!!
Its a new sushi place in Katy and I personally think its even better than Sushi Hana (gasp..my Katy peeps know what I'm talking about! lol)

So there you have it..I obviously cant stick with blogging everyday, but I tried to make it up to you! lol

(and in case you noticed, yes, I did skip day 7-what is your dream wedding...don't judge me! lol)

Well, I am not your typical romantic gal. I have been single for a long time, and have really become happy this way! Its hard to even think about dating being as involved as I am in Landon and his activities.

I have a lot of friends that want to see me date, but I figure when the time is right, something will come along. I only have a few more years that Landon will want to hang out with me willingly, so I'm trying to enjoy them! lol

I would have to say something relaxing..movies and a dinner would be a perfect first date. And of course, they would have to get along with Landon and be a family man :)

Today has been a good day. I got Landon all signed up for spring football. Now I am on my way to a friends birthday!

Thursday Thirteen- TV favorites!!

So, I'm pretty sure its been a few years since I did a Thursday 13, but I'm trying to get back in swing of blogging!! Lets hope in 2011 that I make more of an effort than in 2010! lol

So, as most of you know, I have a huge TV obsession!!

I stay up way too late every night watching them, but I love it!

In no particular order...here is a list of what my DVR is set to record every week...

1. Grey's Anatomy

I have to admit, this show has really pissed me off in the last year, but I'm still holding out! These last 2 weeks have been MUCH better, so fingers crossed!!

The last 10 seconds of last weeks should really change things up in months to come!! (if you know what I mean?!?)

2. American Idol

Wow..I was really impressed last night! I didnt expect to like the new judges at all, and they really surprised me..I thought it was great!!

Maybe it was time for a change!!

3. Intervention

Crap, this show will make me cry, angry and then happy all in one hour! Very powerful stuff, and God bless anyone who goes through that at all :(

4. Ellen

Mark my words..I will see her show LIVE in the next year or two! I ABSOLUTLY love her! I DVR it everyday! She is probably the funniest person in the world to me!

5. The Bachelor

Oh Brad..I dont know why everyone gives you such a hard time! lol

He is hot, forgive the man!

Seriously..I have watched all 15 seasons and every year, I say I wont watch it again. Obviously that doesnt work, because here I am! lol

6. Private Practice

LOVE IT!! One of my top 2 favs!!

The drama..its just too good!!!

7. Brothers & Sisters

What a dysfunctional family!

Makes me feel like I'm not so crazy after all! LOL

8. Desperate Housewives

I am obviously loyal to my shows or I would have dropped this one by now! It has been a little better this season, its just so unrealistic! O-well, I keep the ratings up, right?!?!

9. Holly's World

Yep, I said Holly, as in Hef's ex-girlfriend! Total craziness, but hilarious too! I'm a sucker for reality tv, what can I say?!? It starts this week too, so I'm super happy!

10. Biggest Loser

LOVE IT!! Makes me cry..EVERY week..no lie!

When I cry, I laugh, so my child always looks at me pretty crazy!

Landon is just as obsessed as I am, so I have to wait to watch it with him or he will get mad! lol

11. CSI, Miami

Horatio..you either love him or hate him,

and I love him!

12. Glee

I hate to admit this, but I dont actually watch it yet. I have over 30 episodes recorded and now I just feel overwhelmed. Do I need to start from the beginning, or just start now?!? Help!

13. Kendra

Well, if I watch Holly, you know I have to watch Kendra too! lol

Hank and Kendra crack me up! She is so stupid sometimes, but I just think the show is great! Baby Hank is pretty darn cute too (other than they need to cut his poor hair! lol)

Finally...a NEW YORK post!! (part 1!)

As most of you know, myself and 4 of my girlfriends went to NYC for my 30th birthday!!

Natalie and I on our way to get the key to our apartment! (you cant tell, but I was secretly FREAKING out about renting the apartment..I was praying we didn't get scammed!)

So we drive up and realize we are 4 stories up these lovely stairs! No elevator..just straight up! lol

I took these pics, but they were basically the same ones they put on the Internet when we booked it..not so bad right?!?!

It said "small kitchen", and pictures dont even do justice on how small it really was! We didnt care though because we knew we would be doing much cooking!

Second bedroom..small but totally manageable...

What the internet DIDNT show was this lovely RAT hole in the kitchen (which Crystal QUICKLY duct taped up!)...

the DUCT TAPED shower (apparently they ran out of tile when they "remodeled" the bathroom!)

the foil covered leaking pipes...

Seriously...after the first night we realized we all needed to drink a few beers to fall asleep! lol We did get a really good deal and we were literally STEPS away from Time Square, so we decided to suck it up! Hey, at this point I was just glad we didnt get completely scammed! :)

The next day we headed out to start one of our bus tours. They were worth every penny! Very informative and interesting things we learned!!

On the second story of the bus..so freaking COLD!!

These 3 guys were sitting right in front of us..I could almost feel the bugs jumping on me! lol

We quickly moved up!

Macys!!

Then we got to the World Trade Center. I actually felt bad I didnt feel as emotional as I thought I would. I really expected to walk up and feel totally consumed with emotion. It was so full of jack hammers and cranes that it took so much away from the actual site. It was UNBELIEVABLE to see the buildings around it though and to imagine how huge the twin towers actually were. I cant wait to go back once the memorial area and buildings are done with construction.

Oh yes, we really did the tourist thing and took pics like this!

Then we took the Brooklyn tour..here is the view of Brooklyn right before we crossed the bridge!

OMG..scariest moment of my life! I am afraid of heights and sitting on the edge on the second level of the bus...I thought I was going to DIE! Looking off of the bus straight into the water just about did it for me!

I did manage to turn my camera and snap a few pics..not bad for not really looking!

Then we headed out for bday dinner #2 at Toni de Napolis. It was so delicious!! We really never ate a bad meal!!

So there you have the first 2 days of our trip!! It was the BEST trip EVER!! Days 3-5 coming soon!! (hopefully before Easter!! lol)

I have found it hard to post on here too often because I feel like all of my blog friends are now my facebook friends and I am just repeating myself! So prove me wrong and leave me some blog love! It might help my rut I'm in :)

I LOVE picking out my Christmas cards every year! Usually I make my own and last year, we had professional pictures taken, so we ordered through them!

This year though, I am SOLD on the shutterfly Christmas cards!

I can never pick just one picture, so I love that they have the option to pick 3-8 pictures!!

I am currently trying to decide between 2 or 3 cards and narrowing down my pictures!

I'm trying to pick a few pictures from over the year and then have our current Christmas picture too!

Christmas tree is up and decorated, some presents are already wrapped, and the lights are up...now all I have to do is decide which card! (and then finally upload my NYC pics! lol)

We are going to see a Broadway show...either Wicked or Rock of Ages!!!

and meeting up with a friend from high school!!! I couldn't be more excited!!

Seriously??? Its been over 2 months since my last post?!?! I was WAY behind then, so you have no idea what you have missed by now! lol

Eclipse!!!!

Ahh..the day I have been waiting for since last November...

the premiere of ECLIPSE!!!

We bought tickets 2 months ago for the TRILOGY on opening night!

7:15 Twilight

9:30 New Moon

and

12:01 Eclipse!

ALL in the SAME seat! LOL

Me and 9 of my girlfriends bought tickets and were super excited!

I even let my "Team Jacob" friends sit with me! ha

We (well, part of our group) got to the theater at 4:30 to get in line! (and no we weren't anywhere near the front of the line!)

There were people with sleeping bags, pillows, homework, dvd players all camped out for the midnight showing!

Crazy twi-hards!!!

I was glad we atleast got to sit in a cushioned seat instead of on the floor!

Once we got in our seats they were giving out door prizes!

Then the manager walked up and down the isles throwing t-shirts!

LOOK what I caught....

(no young teenagers were physically hurt (maybe a little mentally) during the catch, but I cant promise that this almost 30 year old didnt jump when I saw it coming!)

I mean...I just had to have it!

Oh I think I have a problem! lol

All in all, I was there from 5:30-2:20..just a little shy of 9 hours!

I was very surprised in the age groups of the people! It definitely was not only a bunch of teeny boppers! ;)

Tuesday 10 (+3)!!

I have so many things coming up and I quickly get reminded why I love summer so much! Its not like I don't have to work, but I sure celebrate summer like I was off! lol

13 things I am looking forward to...

1. TAYLOR SWIFT concert tonight!! We bought tickets last October, so I'm just glad its finally here!! Crystal, Faith, me, Landon and Skylah are going and they made t-shirts and posters last night,

so you know pictures will follow!

2. Landon's 1st grade Awards on Thursday. Such a bittersweet moment for me :( My little baby will be in the second grade..how is that even possible?!?!

3. The new Sex in the City movie comes out this week. I loved the first one and cant wait to see the new one! I might go Thursday night, but will for sure see it sometime this weekend!!

4. The last day of school is next Thursday and a couple of my good friends, Sharice and Christina are going out to dinner/drinks that evening! (Landon is staying the night with Nana and Mimi since he wont start summer camp until the next week!)

5. Next Friday we are having an end-of-the-year PTA pool party with all the kids and parents !!

6. Anna's graduation party!!

7. Our get together with the Purvis/Benzman/Grauls!! Love these people and cant wait to see them! We try and get together often, but its been MONTHS :( The adults have just as much fun as the kids most of the time! ha

8. Brooklyn's 2nd Birthday party (which reminds me, I need to get Landon and I a Sesame street shirt! lol) and seriously Kirsten...how will she be 2?? I swear we just had your baby shower!! :)

9. Our monthly dinner with my high school friends, Steph, Rach and Emily!!

10. I'm making baby letters for a friend!

11. Tiffany and Howards wedding!

12. A trip to Lafayette in late June! We haven't seen them since Disney!

comes out at midnight on Wednesday, June 30th!!!!!!

A group of us got tickets to the trilogy on Tuesday evening to see Twilight @7:15, New Moon @ 9:30 and then Eclipse @ 12:01!!!

Then I'm going with Amy, 2 of her daughters, Steph, & Holly again on Friday to see it again!!! :)

(I wont even mention that another group of girls is going on Wednesday night and I am considering going! No way, I would never admit that, because then I might really have an obsession problem!!!)

We had a WONDERFUL vacation! So much fun, that I will have to break our trip up in a couple posts!

Our first day was just us 2 and then Ashley, Chris and Aubrey. The rest of the crew arrived that night. We were lucky and had great weather..little did we know what the rest of the week would bring us!

Landons cousin and 2 other girls in our group were competing (hence why we all went to Disney in the first place!)

We gave up early evening and headed back to the house. Some of the group stayed, but I had enough rain for the day!!

Day 4 we headed to Animal Kingdom!!

They always have a bunch of characters outside the entrance, so we waited to meet a few cool guys!!

He bought this lanyard with 4 pins on it. They have a great program that you can exchange pins with any of the Disney workers. He ended up buying a few more pins and really enjoyed looking for new pins. All the kids in our group did this and had a great time! (advice...Target sells the same pins for $4.99 and Disney sells them for $8.99-14.99!)

The safari is one of my favorite parts of Animal Kingdom.

We then went to ride on one of the raft rides. We rode and there wasnt a line, so we decided to go again. I joked and said we were pressing our luck and were bound to get SOAKED this time (since we got off pretty dry the first ride!) All of a sudden the ride STOPPED and we saw people turning around in line and all the workers turning around and leaving. WHAT the heck is going on??? After about 15 minutes, we see two workers come out in wadders and start walking in the water towards us! They had to close the ride down and we had to walk on a 2X4 to get to the emergency exit.

We never really heard why the ride closed, but it was pretty freaky!!

That night we went to the Polynesian Resort to watch the fireworks. The boys played in the sand most of the time and built a sandcastle!

Obviously we are back from Disney World! I cant believe its almost been a month since my last post! While I have a ton of pics to upload and share with you guys, I wanted to take the time to ask a favor.

Cystic Fibrosis...well quite frankly, it SUCKS!

I have a beautiful friend Cara who has suffered with CF since her 1st birthday. She is just the sweetest, most beautiful, kind hearted, person you will ever meet.

We went to high school together and I am now a part of her amazing Great Strides team, Caras Corps.

We will be walking in Houston, TX on may 22nd to help raise money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

Landon is walking with me this year, so he is super excited! (its less than 3 miles! lol)

If you could please take 3 minutes of your time to watch the short, yet powerful video about Cara I would greatly appreciate it.

Little did we know, we were LITERALLY the last row in the VERY top section! That was the wall behind us! Thank goodness for screens all over the place, because Fergie could have been an impersonator and we wouldnt have known! lol

So sad rodeo season is over, but I had such a good time at Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, and the Black Eyed Peas!!!

This last week, Landon had art night at his school. We had a scavenger hunt and got to walk around the school and see his artwork from this year.

Wow, we sure had a great weekend!!!

Friday night started out with Devons birthday dinner at Clays!

Happy 12th Birthday Devon!!

We love you lots and were so glad to spend another birthday with you!

After dinner he wanted to go see Alice in Wonderland!

We didnt go until 10:10 so I fully expected Landon not to make it all the way through! I prepared myself not to be mad for wasting money!

To my surprise, we all made it through!

I wasnt a huge fan of the movie..it was ok, but not anything major!

Saturday morning, Landon had a soccer game!

This is his 8th season, but 1st season with the new league!

He has been doing great and we are really liking the new team!

Saturday Landon scored 10 (yes, ten) goals!!!

Nana pays him $1 a goal, and after 3 games he has almost $20..Nana might go broke this season! haha

He kicked it, tripped and fell, but it still made it in there!!

After the game, Landon stayed with Mimi and Nana, and I went with my friend, Mandy to the rodeo!!!

I am a rodeo "queen" and go multiple times a year! Mandy on the other hand had never been!

Can you guess what on this sign she tried?!?!

....a fried twinky!!!

They literally have fried oreos, fried snickers, fried cheesecake, fried meatballs, you name it, they fry it! Makes my arteries hurt just thinking about it! lol

I guess I should be glad that the rodeo is just once a year! ha

Then it was time to go see my man, Jason Aldean!!!!

He was so awesome, and if I knew how to upload a video, I would!

Then we left the rodeo and went to El Patio to meet a friend for her birthday!

El Patio is known for their DANGEROUS blue margaritas!!!

We just so happened to have a few pitchers at our table!

After a round of those delicious things!

Mandy loved her some blue margaritas! She wasnt feeling too good that day, but said she felt MUCH better after one of these ;)

It was a fabulous weekend with beautiful Texas weather!!!

Yes, all these things happened within 24 hours!!! Craziness, but FUN!!!

Needless to say, today was a relaxing day full of NOTHING!!! lol

I couldnt help but post these pics!!

Skylah had a huge ballon and decided she wanted to tie it on and be "pregnant"

She said she was pregant with NINE babies!

(beat that Octomom!)

So disturbing, yet so cute! lol

She said "How am I going to tie my shoes?" (oh honey, you have NO idea!)

Then she gets the bright idea to ask Landon for help!

(he looks just as uncomfortable as she does!)

Hopefully this means my child will be a sweet and helpful husband ONE day (a LONG time from now!)

The whole time we were trying not to laugh out loud, because they sure do act like brother and sister and will stop getting along if they know they have an audience!

They even played "house" after the babies were "born"

Landon was of course the "brother" to the nine babies!

It was over 2 months ago, but whos counting?!?!

What was even more special was that it was a total surprise for me!

We had a wonderful December!!!

We started off with Landons birthday on the 12th (pics coming soon!)

and then celebrated Christmas for the rest! lol

I played around and came up with some collages to catch up on our Christmas festivites!! (click on the collage to make it larger)

We started off at Papa and DeeDees (Landons great grandparents!)

the weekend before Christmas!

Little did they know, they bought him EXACTLY what he wanted for Christmas..

Christmas Eve we went to the candlelight service at church and then headed to Nana and Mimis to spend the night!

Santa also brought him another skateboard! It was the only thing he specifically asked for, so he is super happy to have 2 now! ;)

Yep, ZHU ZHU pets were the hit this year, and my mom and Mimi were on a hunt to find them! I wasnt going to search the world and pay WAY too much for the people on amazon selling them...but guess who was?!?!

If you dont know what I am talking about then you have either been living under a rock (or dont have a child 4-8 yrs old! ha)

After waking up and doing presents there, we headed home for Christmas with our "family" Crystal, Skylah, Bryan, Gavin, me and Landon!

(I loved walking by our Christmas cards everyday!!)

This was totally last minute and something I didnt plan on doing, but hey, its been worth it! They LOVE them!

Landon even told me later that day that he knew he was a lucky kid!

The next morning we headed to Lafayette for Christmas with Landons other side of the family!!

Landon and his sister got another snuggie, game, ds games, ect, and they loved every bit of it!

Grandpa and Mammy got a Wii Fit and the kids played it NON STOP all weekend! No joke!

It was a wonderful weekend and such a great way to end our Christmas festivities!

This was yet another season full of friends, family and laughter!

We are so blessed by all of the people who are in our life!

I thought I loved you more than I could ever love anything in the whole world...then at 6:25 pm you were born. That moment I experienced a love I never thought was possible! You were beautiful...all 10 lb 3 oz of you!

December 12th, 2003...

You were just the cutest little (big) boy I'd ever seen! You were walking already and had a mouth full of teeth! You gave me a run for my money sometimes, but you loved your momma!! I loved you even more which didnt seem possible to me!!

AHH...the terrible 2's were in FULL force! Somehow after all your tantrums, fits, and "episodes" you would have, I went to bed every night thanking God for letting me be your mother! You pretty much stayed in that lovely toddler

stage, but it all seems like a distant memory now! I wont go in to detail of when you ran away from me in the parking lot, tried to pull down my curtains, bite me when I put you in time out, or any of those other moments you blessed me with that year! Just that I still loved every moment I was your mom!

Wow...times sure changed this year! You became such a joy to be around! You were at your Montessori school and became a little boy! You could do everything on your own, but still loved for mommy to help you! We started movie nights and getting to do more fun things together..just the 2 of us!

I am starting to see a pattern here...every year you amaze me and I cant imagine loving you MORE. Somehow, everyday makes me love you more and more! We have so much fun together and cant imagine my life without you!

You are such a smart 1st grader! Your teacher says you are a math wizard and you are reading so much better! I love how excited you still get about things...your personality cracks me up daily! You are very punctual and get very worried if you think we might be late! It is too funny!

You still like to hang out on the couch and watch movies with me and I couldnt love those moments more!

SNOW IN KATY!!!

I still cant believe I can say that!! lol

The weatherman said all week that we were expecting snow on Friday, but being a Texan, we know that somehow it would pass us up! ;)

Much to our surprise, Friday morning we had a few flurries, and to completly honest, we were satisfied!

An hour later, this is what we saw outside our window at work!!

Holy crap, its snowing in Katy, TX!!!

The dealership looked so cool!

While everyone else was ordering in, Mandy and I decided to go to Target on out lunchbreak! When we drove out, we realized how much snow we were actually getting!! Snow didnt stop us from Target! ;)

My mom and Mimi went and got Landon from school at 12 so he could enjoy it! Heck, we may never see this again!

This was one of his many little snowmen!!

He wrote his name on the table!

Once I got off work, I went to their house and he pulled this out of the freezer! He didnt want it to melt before I got there! SO cute!

As it started to melt, I realized I didnt have any pics of us in the snow! Had to remember this day forever!!

It was such a wonderful day and I think we will all remember it for a long time!

The next morning when we got up it was still covered in white snow and ice! As you drove down the streets you saw snowmen everywhere!

Landon was in heaven (and I think I was too! lol)

OK, not really, but since everyone had the "30" jokes today,

I thought I would join in! lol

Today is really my 29th birthday and I have had a great day!

I got to work and my friends, Jessica and Mandy had decorated my office!!

I'm still finding confetti everywhere! My purse, my pocket, my car!

I have had so many facebook messages, comments, texts and sweet calls from my wonderful friends!!

Then it was back to mommy mode, because I picked Landon up, rushed to soccer practice, had a "gourmet" McDonalds birthday dinner (in the car!), picked up cookie dough fundraiser and then headed home for bath and homework! lol

We are having a girls night in this weekend that is sure to be loads of fun though!! Pics to follow soon (hopefully before the new year! ha)

I have so much to update on still, so I decided to start from the most recent! I didnt want to be posting Halloween pics on Thanksgiving! lol

We went the Sunday before Halloween to some friends for a pumpkin carving party. The kids had a blast while the parents did all the work! (isnt that how it always works?!?)

Its hard to believe our reunion was a month and a half ago! We had such a wonderful time in Hope and look forward to going back to visit! Small towns are fun to visit, but I sure could not live there!

So there you have it!

Thank you all so much for your sweet messages, comments, phone calls over the last week. It was such a wonderful feeling to be in Arkansas with my family.

They services were just amazing. I felt weird saying that about a funeral, but thats not what is was. They did such a great job making it a celebration of her life! She was a wonderful little girl that went way too soon, but we all know she is in such a better and more beautiful place. Olivia has been to more countries, missions, and served her Lord more than many adults I know (including myself) She had a wonderful 10 years and they portrayed that so great at the services.

There were over 800 people at the service! They also have friends and family all over the world, so they had it broadcasted on the church website LIVE. They had over 1,000 people watch it online. Theres just a little glimpse at how many people loved this little girl and her family!

My aunt, uncle and cousins are so strong in their faith and doing as good as can be expected. They have a tough road ahead of them, so please continue to keep them in your prayers.

I still have a bunch of posts that are half done to post! I need to get to work I guess!

Of course that will have to wait until after I meet up with Steph, Rach and Emily for dinner and drinks tonight!!!! :)

Olivia Noel Ray

My beautiful 10 year old cousin was involved in a terrible accident on Saturday morning in Arkansas. While on her way to a fun run for her church, she was hit by an SUV while crossing the street. She went to be with the Lord on Saturday afternoon.

I was lucky enough to have seen her last month at our family reunion. Her smile will be missed and I am lucky to call her my cousin. I only wish I would have been able to see her more often since we lived so far away from each other.

Please watch this video to see how many peoples life she touched in her short 10 years of life. Please pray for my Uncle John, Aunt Jane, and her sisters, Hope, Hannah, and Naomi. Their pain has only begun to start.

My mom, Aunt Barbara and I are flying out Wednesday night to Arkansas for the funeral. I cannot even begin to think what a gut wrenching few days this is going to be for all of us.

Landon has football every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturdays..he is so freaking cute in his uniform and is such a good player! Wears me out, but he loves it!!

I have been to 4 PTA meeting or trainings this month! (not complaining, but it has been very time consuming!)

I booked Landons birthday party! (Dec 12th!) His bday actually falls on a Saturday this year! I still cant believe my baby will be 7!

I went to Learning Express this week and bought one of Landons bday presents..an ant farm. Boy, times have sure changed...just a few years ago I would have never imagined having an ant farm in my house! lol

I started Christmas shopping last week!! (and just to really scare you...if you get paid weekly, only 11 more paychecks until Christmas!!) Scary!

Landon decided to be a boxer for halloween this year. Only problem..I went to 4 stores and they are already out of mediums everywhere :/ (it was still September people!!!) So I had to bite the bullet and order it online! It came in yesterday and looks so freaking cute on him!

I completed my first fundraiser as The Fundraiser Chair! It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be!

I have 2 more sets of baby letters to make!

I have 3 friends pregnant with boys right now!

Still have my family reunion trip to post (and a few more!)

IS IT REALLY OCTOBER ALREADY!?!?!

I dont have enough time in the day for tv, facebook, work, homework, and being a mom! lol Meing a mom and homework is trumping all my extra curricular activities these days! ;)

Actually, I just stay up WAY too late to try and catch up on ALL the shows I DVR!

Biggest Loser is starting out so good this year!! I sure as heck hope Tracy goes home soon though!

Landon told me the other day that if you cant find a wife, that you can just buy a kid! Wow...the things that come out of this kids nouth CRACKS me up!

New Baby Letters!!

I feel like it been forever since I made my last baby letters! I got an email from a friend that had a coworker that wanted some! I was so impressed..my first paid customer! I have always just enjoyed giving them to my friends as shower gifts! Maybe I can get into a side business for a little extra spending cash! ;)

I had alot of fun making these..I have to get my girl fix somehow, right?!?!

This really amazing girl over at King Quads nominated me for this awesome award!! Thanks Jenn!! I would link to her, but to protect those precious babies of hers, she is on private! Many of the other fabulous quad mommas know her and I know they all agree that she is awesome too! She has 4 of the cutest babies I have EVER seen, she is super sweet, creative, and I just wish we lived closer to eachother! Like she said, I know we would be great friends!

10. I have always been addicted to Diet Coke! 3 months ago I decided to try and quit, and havent had one since! I tried a sip of one the other day and actually found that I dont miss it at all!

9. I cannot leave the house without drying, straightening and curling my hair, and putting on my makeup! Not even to the gas station! You would think I was a girly girl, but I'm totally not! Jeans, flip flops and a tshirt will do, I just must be fixed up a little!

8. I actually cried when I found out Landon was a boy. I just knew in my heart that he was a she. I am an only child and was raised by my mom. We have always been just the girls! I didnt know what I would do with a boy. Worms, sweat, sports, camping is NOT my thing ;) Now that I have a stinky, sweaty,sport playing boy, I dont know what I would do without him! He is such a mommas boy and a little lover! I am so glad I had a boy first!!

7. I am obsessed with tv. Its really a problem ;) I keep waiting to come home and have my family sitting down to have an Intervention! (wich happens to be one of the shows I watch! lol) Reality tv is my favorite, well..or dancing shows. Then again, I dont think anything could top Greys! (or Desperate Housewives, SYTYCD, Chelsea Lately, Kendra, ABDC, ok, ok...I told you I have a problem!!)

6. I have never smoked a cigarette..not a single puff in my entire life!!

(woo-hoo!!)

5. I was on drill team for 3 years and used to be in tap, ballet and jazz as a child, but I WILL not dance at a club or party now! Give me an 8 count and I can do it, but other than that, this girl has no rythym!

4. I find all of you quad moms absolutly AMAZING! I almost didnt write this because I didnt want yall to think I was crazy, but this is called Honest Scrap right?!?! I find it so interesting to read about your lives, the ups, the downs, the in betweens, the pictures and the love you have for each other!!

3. I used to LOVE scary movies, but since I had Landon, I CANNOT watch them. For some reason I imagine them happening to my life now and it totally freaks me out!

2. I cant go to sleep without checking my email. I may not open everything or reply, but I cant sleep if I dont look at it! lol I will even check it on my cell in bed if I didnt get on the computer! Hey, dont judge!

1. I am SUPER punctual..I know my blood pressure is through the
roof when I am late to something. Its my biggest pet peeve when people are late! It just seems so inconsiderate to me! My poor child has learned this trait too..he freaks out if he thinks will be late! (which is a good and annoying trait all in one! lol)

So there you have it..hope I didnt scare any of you off! ;)

All in all, he said it was a good day! I couldn't be more pleased with his teacher! She was a kindergarten teacher last year, so Landon and I both already know her! (and we think she is super!) She was actually the teacher that stuck out at kinder orientation last year (but we couldn't have been happier with Ms Jones!!) Now we got them both!

It seems like just a few months ago I wrote this post :(

Its bittersweet, because a much as I want him to stay little, it makes me so proud to see the little man he is becoming!

A few weekends ago we went to Lufkin for Crystals great grandparents 68th Wedding Anniversary!

Crystal spent weeks making a slideshow of old pics and songs. It was so neat, but so sad. Everybody really enjoyed watching it :)

Landon has had a loose tooth for weeks now (his first one!) MawMaw decided to try and pull it out... Skylah had a loose tooth too, so I started trying to pull hers out...
and within 60 seconds I pulled Skylahs out and then turned and pulled Landons out!!
Corky brought them straight to the bathroom to rinse ;)

Our over due 4th of July weekend pics!!

For weeks we had been planning a 4th of July camping trip with some of our friends. (nevermind the fact that it has been 100 degrees PLUS here everyday) Natalie talked me into joining them for just one night! I figured I was depriving my child by not going and I could survive one night!

After packing on Friday and getting all ready, we got a call from Jeff and Nat that there had been an emergency and they were leaving the campsite. I called them right back and unfortunately a child was missing in the lake. They had search and rescue there and divers were looking for the child :( I felt so awful that I had joked all week about trying to get out of this trip, but never imagined something like this happening. We have been searching onlin andcant find anything on the story. I'm hoping in my hert of hearts that it means the child was found and is ok.

So needless to say, I had a very sad little boy...but the Grauls invited us all over for the 4th to swim, drink, grill and spend the night!
