Christmas card ideas!!!

I LOVE picking out my Christmas cards every year!  Usually I make my own and last year, we had professional pictures taken, so we ordered through them!

This year though, I am SOLD on the shutterfly Christmas cards!

I can never pick just one picture, so I love that they have the option to pick 3-8 pictures!!

I am currently trying to decide between 2 or 3 cards and narrowing down my pictures!

I'm trying to pick a few pictures from over the year and then have our current Christmas picture too!

I'm thinking about ordering some for the grandparents and of course for myself too :)

I have used Shutterfly before to order prints and photo books, and they have turned out GREAT!  I cant wait to order my cards this year!  I know they will be perfect for our friends and family to see what the 2 of us have been up to this year!!

Christmas tree is up and decorated, some presents are already wrapped, and the lights are up...now all I have to do is decide which card! (and then finally upload my NYC pics!  lol)

I love this time of year!!

CHRISTmas Fun!!

We had a wonderful December!!!

We started off with Landons birthday on the 12th (pics coming soon!)

and then celebrated Christmas for the rest!  lol

I played around and came up with some collages to catch up on our Christmas festivites!! (click on the collage to make it larger)

We started off at Papa and DeeDees (Landons great grandparents!)

the weekend before Christmas!

Little did they know, they bought him EXACTLY what he wanted for Christmas..

A SKATEBOARD!!

Christmas Eve we went to the candlelight service at church and then headed to Nana and Mimis to spend the night!

Santa also brought him another skateboard! It was the only thing he specifically asked for, so he is super happy to have 2 now! ;)

Yep, ZHU ZHU pets were the hit this year, and my mom and Mimi were on a hunt to find them!  I wasnt going to search the world and pay WAY too much for the people on amazon selling them...but guess who was?!?!

If you dont know what I am talking about then you have either been living under a rock (or dont have a child 4-8 yrs old!  ha)

After waking up and doing presents there, we headed home for Christmas with our "family" Crystal, Skylah, Bryan, Gavin, me and Landon!

(I loved walking by our Christmas cards everyday!!)

Then for the GRAND FINALE...

This was totally last minute and something I didnt plan on doing, but hey, its been worth it!  They LOVE them!

Landon even told me later that day that he knew he was a lucky kid!

The next morning we headed to Lafayette for Christmas with Landons other side of the family!!

Landon and his sister got another snuggie, game, ds games, ect, and they loved every bit of it!

Grandpa and Mammy got a Wii Fit and the kids played it NON STOP all weekend!  No joke!

It was a wonderful weekend and such a great way to end our Christmas festivities!

This was yet another season full of friends, family and laughter!

We are so blessed by all of the people who are in our life!

Lets try and wrap it up!

Wow...where has the time gone?!?! Here it is, January 19th and I haven't even put up my Christmas pics! I joked right after Christmas that I hoped to have my blog updated by February...I didn't know how literal that statement would become!

Anyways, as most of you know, Landon had his surgery (tonsils and adenoids) 8 days before Christmas and was a CHAMP!! He slept through the night every night, NEVER complained, started eating solids the next morning, and loved his new scrubs! :)

Here he is not even 24 hours after his surgery!

Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers..they WORKED!

That weekend we celebrated Christmas with my family.

Christmas Eve we had a full house...Landon, me, Crystal, Skylah, Bryan, Gavin, Andy & Les (Skylahs dad and step-mom), Addison and Drew (Skylahs little brother and sister) I am so thankful to have them all as friends and be able to spend the holidays like we did! It was so fun having the 5 kiddos there!!

They got him a Nintendo DS which he is IN LOVE with! This was my child the whole way home! (thank goodness!)

So there you have it...our Wonderful Christmas all wrapped up!!

I still have NYE and Melissas wedding pics to put up (which was BEAUTIFUL), so look for a few more posts this week!!

I sure have missed you all..it feels so good to be back!!

Oh yeah..I almost forgot..we were all doing a puzzle on Tuesday night watching American Idol, and the girl that auditioned in her bikini came on screen...

my little 6 year old PERV looked at the screen with his mouth open and said...

(in his little Landon voice..you know what I'm talking about Kirsten..lol)

"Oh my gosh...I am neva' gonna stop watching this"

Are you freaking kidding me...I asked him what he was talking about, and then he proceeds to tell me..

"what mom...she is hot"

SHOULD I BE WORRIED??? ;)

Wow..the life of a mom with boys!!

Landon had his tonsils and adnoids removed last week and is doing GREAT!! 5 days after his birthday and 8 days before Christmas, so I am super happy that he is doing so well! He has slept throught the night since and has had minimal pain! Thanks for all your happy thoughts and prayers!!
