Wow...we have been so busy. I just realized I havent posted anything in over a week..AHH! lol Shame on me! Well, I have lots of pics to share from our "oh so busy" summertime!
Skylah, Gavin and Crystal playing at the pool
We went to Lafayette a few weekends ago to see the "Disney gang" and exchange pics from our vacation! (my scrapbook pics coming soon!) Aubrey, Seth and Landon after playing in the rain!
Ms Pam and Landon having fun!
All the kids showing Mr Webon his scrapbook we made him!
Then the next w/e, I babysat my best friend, Melissas son, Justin! He is 16 months old, but I must say, a VERY calm baby! Not that I didnt already know that, but I had no idea how it would be w/o mommy or daddy around! He was great though! This was his first time away from home! :)
While Justin was napping, Landon and Skylah were "laying out" (which lasted all of 5 minutes!)
Sweet Justin
Skylah jumped him so high!!
Red Croc central!!
"What mom?!?!"
We took the kiddos to a splashpad, and they had so much fun!
I think the boys were exhausted! They were passed out as soon as we got in the car!
I had to take a picture of all this crap! ;) This was all the stuff she sent to my house for him..not including the stroller! 4 bags, pool stuff, milk and his floppy seat! Gotta love her!
The next night we had our friends over for dinner..Landon and Korbin eating tacos! (or goofing off!)
Here is Devon awaiting his little sisters arrival! Even though Brooklyn is 3 weeks old, I never posted her pics from the hospital!
Aunt Steph and Baby Brooklyn the day after she was born June 12th!
So dang sweet!!!
Like I said last week, I was going to get her all to myself for a couple hours!! She slept the whole time, but it was so fun to watch her! I'm very honored that Kirsten trusted me with her and Dev.
Happy 4th of July!!!
We spent the day at my friend, Natalies. Landon swam for a little while and didnt eat much, but I thought it was just b/c he was the only kid. After a few hours, I realized he had a fever. Usually my mom instincts kick in, I felt so bad though!! So needless to say, we spent the rest of the day just napping and watching tv.
I did make a jello dessert though! (even though I didnt like it!)
We also made red, white, and blue pretzels! These are a household favorite for the adults! We cant make them to often, b/c we will eat them all!!
Somehow in the mix of babysitting, a weekend in Lafayette, a weekend in Austin (pics coming soon), and scrapbooking, I have managed to finish 2 book, and start on another one!!! I finally finished Vanishing Acts...another great one from Jodi!! Disturbing, yet wonderful..if that makes any sense!
A night in Rodanthe was such a great love story...short, but oh so good!! They are actaully making it into a movie this fall featuring Richard Gere! watch trailer here
The movies usually let me down after I have read the books, but this one looks really good!
I'm only 1/4 of the way through with this one, but it is a PAGE TURNER...I wont give anything away, but it at times is so gut wrenching, I feel like I am there! I cant wait to finish it!
Well, I still have scrapbook and wedding pictures to post, but I'm off to read a bit and clean up! It feels good to be back to my blog world..I've missed you all! ;) I hope everybody is enjoying their long weekend and summer so far!!
