Surprisingly, B's party was the only thing on the agenda last weekend! We went to eat at Borders on Friday night and then hung out at my my Mom and Mimis on Sunday for a little bit! Now that I list all that, it sounds like a busy weekend...here I was trying to prove that we dont always have stuff going on! Oops!

Starting summer off right!

My mom called last week and said she wanted to do something fun for the weekend! After looking around for fun things to do (not all day in the scorching heat!), we decided to head to The Woodlands!
We started off eating lunch at Rockfish! Landon wanted crawfish, but they didn't have any :( It was so good though!
Two peas in a pod!!

Then we headed to the Childrens Museum in the mall! It was a great place to go, but Landon was probably at the max age! It is more geared towards 2-6 year olds! Its only $5 a person though, and we still had fun!

They had scrubs and stuff to do an operation on this lovely body! lol

He had the most fun digging for dinosaur bones!

His new kicks!

Then we walked around the mall..of course he spotted the carousel! They have a 45 minute boat tour which was really neat! Landon enjoyed listening to the tour guide tell us all about the stuff!Looks like he made himself at home!Could he be any cuter?!?! ;)We had such a great day! We left the house at 10:30 that morning and didn't get home until after 11 that night! We went to Guadalajara for dinner, Barnes and Nobles, and just walked around all day!

Then on Sunday, we hung out at the house all day! The weather was great, so we stayed outside most of the time!

Crazy kids!Corky getting him ready to go down the slide full of bubbles! (without a pool, we have to get creative!)and there he goes!! (yes, thats a tarp at the end of our slide! dont judge!) MawMaw, Landon, Skylah and Corky enjoying the sun!

Then the kids got out their journals! They are too funny!
My sweet guy!
Hope you are all enjoying your summer as much as we are! This was his first week at Summer Camp, and he is exhausted every night! They go on 3-4 field trips a week, so they keep him super busy!

My baby is getting too big :(

Last week we had Landon's Kindergarten Awards
It seems like just a few months ago I wrote this post :(
Here is my handsome guy!!They sang some songs, said the pledge, and danced for us!
Miss Jones (the best teacher EVER..more on that in a minute!) giving Landon his awards.
He got the Certificate of Kindergarten...
Junior Achievement Award...
PE, Art and Music Award...
Outstanding Citizenship...
and Merry Music Maker!!
(he always sings and dances, and Miss Jones said that he was always making music!)
Best Buds

Proud Mommy
We will miss her so much next year!
and here are just a FEW of the reasons why...
She sent home a Summer Survival Kit which included,
a self addressed envelope to write her over the summer...
pen and pad to practice writing...
hugs and kisses (Hershey's),
sidewalk chalk in case they get bored,
and a summer reading list!
She also made each child a photo album of pictures throughout the year!
It had over 20 pics!
She even came and saw him at tae kwon do earlier in the year!
and in case that wasn't enough...
She put together a book of things they did throughout the year each month

eating green eggs and ham :)
April showers ;)
This is their snorkeling masks they made...they are under the table (which has blue saran wrap on the bottom to get the ocean effect! lol)
There was a picture from every month, but you get the hint! All the kindergartners also got 3 workbooks to keep their brain working over the summer! 2 math and 1 reading!!!
Today was the last day of school (yes, June 4th...craziness!)
It was bittersweet, because Landon is really looking forward to summer, but he already misses Miss Jones! He has accidentally called me her name twice already!
She really set our standards high for future years! I know I will never forget his kindergarten year!
Once the kids got home, MawMaw let them help her mow the grass!
Check out that "wife-beater!" What a stud! lol
So, here to our busy summer! We have so many fun things planned!
He is going to summer camp where he does after school now. They have 3 to 4 field trips a week! He is going to be SO busy! (luckily he is used to that!)
Hope you all are enjoying your summer!
