CHRISTmas Fun!!

We had a wonderful December!!!
We started off with Landons birthday on the 12th (pics coming soon!)
and then celebrated Christmas for the rest!  lol
I played around and came up with some collages to catch up on our Christmas festivites!! (click on the collage to make it larger)
Hope you enjoy!!
We started off at Papa and DeeDees (Landons great grandparents!)
the weekend before Christmas!
Little did they know, they bought him EXACTLY what he wanted for Christmas..
A SKATEBOARD!!

Christmas Eve we went to the candlelight service at church and then headed to Nana and Mimis to spend the night!
Notice the stack of 7 presents all wrapped together (behind Landon)?!?!
Look in the next collage for the yellow boxes to see what my special guy got!!!
Santa also brought him another skateboard! It was the only thing he specifically asked for, so he is super happy to have 2 now! ;)

Yep, ZHU ZHU pets were the hit this year, and my mom and Mimi were on a hunt to find them!  I wasnt going to search the world and pay WAY too much for the people on amazon selling them...but guess who was?!?!
If you dont know what I am talking about then you have either been living under a rock (or dont have a child 4-8 yrs old!  ha)

After waking up and doing presents there, we headed home for Christmas with our "family" Crystal, Skylah, Bryan, Gavin, me and Landon!
(I loved walking by our Christmas cards everyday!!)

SNUGGIES!!
Look closely in Landons lap and you can see that even Ajax got a snuggie too!!  ;)

Then for the GRAND FINALE...
blindfolded and ready to go outside...
Crystal making sure they cant see...
SUPRPRISE...ELECTRIC SCOOTERS!!!

This was totally last minute and something I didnt plan on doing, but hey, its been worth it!  They LOVE them!
Landon even told me later that day that he knew he was a lucky kid!

The next morning we headed to Lafayette for Christmas with Landons other side of the family!!
Landon and his sister got another snuggie, game, ds games, ect, and they loved every bit of it!
Grandpa and Mammy got a Wii Fit and the kids played it NON STOP all weekend!  No joke!
It was a wonderful weekend and such a great way to end our Christmas festivities!

This was yet another season full of friends, family and laughter!
We are so blessed by all of the people who are in our life!
Happy 2010!!!

SNOW IN KATY!!!

I still cant believe I can say that!!  lol
The weatherman said all week that we were expecting snow on Friday, but being a Texan, we know that somehow it would pass us up!  ;)
Much to our surprise, Friday morning we had a few flurries, and to completly honest, we were satisfied!
An hour later, this is what we saw outside our window at work!!
Holy crap, its snowing in Katy, TX!!!

The dealership looked so cool!

While everyone else was ordering in, Mandy and I decided to go to Target on out lunchbreak!  When we drove out, we realized how much snow we were actually getting!!  Snow didnt stop us from Target!  ;)

My mom and Mimi went and got Landon from school at 12 so he could enjoy it!  Heck, we may never see this again!
This was one of his many little snowmen!!

He wrote his name on the table!

Once I got off work, I went to their house and he pulled this out of the freezer!  He didnt want it to melt before I got there!  SO cute!

As it started to melt, I realized I didnt have any pics of us in the snow!  Had to remember this day forever!!

It was such a wonderful day and I think we will all remember it for a long time!
The next morning when we got up it was still covered in white snow and ice!  As you drove down the streets you saw snowmen everywhere!
Landon was in heaven (and I think I was too!  lol)

So there you have it, snow in Katy!!
I have a few more post up my sleeve, but I thought I would start with this one!!

P.S a certain little boy in my house will be 7 this Saturday!!!!

Starting summer off right!

My mom called last week and said she wanted to do something fun for the weekend! After looking around for fun things to do (not all day in the scorching heat!), we decided to head to The Woodlands!
We started off eating lunch at Rockfish! Landon wanted crawfish, but they didn't have any :( It was so good though!
Two peas in a pod!!

Then we headed to the Childrens Museum in the mall! It was a great place to go, but Landon was probably at the max age! It is more geared towards 2-6 year olds! Its only $5 a person though, and we still had fun!

They had scrubs and stuff to do an operation on this lovely body! lol

He had the most fun digging for dinosaur bones!

His new kicks!

Then we walked around the mall..of course he spotted the carousel! They have a 45 minute boat tour which was really neat! Landon enjoyed listening to the tour guide tell us all about the stuff!Looks like he made himself at home!Could he be any cuter?!?! ;)We had such a great day! We left the house at 10:30 that morning and didn't get home until after 11 that night! We went to Guadalajara for dinner, Barnes and Nobles, and just walked around all day!

Then on Sunday, we hung out at the house all day! The weather was great, so we stayed outside most of the time!

Crazy kids!Corky getting him ready to go down the slide full of bubbles! (without a pool, we have to get creative!)and there he goes!! (yes, thats a tarp at the end of our slide! dont judge!) MawMaw, Landon, Skylah and Corky enjoying the sun!

Then the kids got out their journals! They are too funny!
My sweet guy!
Hope you are all enjoying your summer as much as we are! This was his first week at Summer Camp, and he is exhausted every night! They go on 3-4 field trips a week, so they keep him super busy!
