Lets try and wrap it up!

Wow...where has the time gone?!?! Here it is, January 19th and I haven't even put up my Christmas pics! I joked right after Christmas that I hoped to have my blog updated by February...I didn't know how literal that statement would become!

Anyways, as most of you know, Landon had his surgery (tonsils and adenoids) 8 days before Christmas and was a CHAMP!! He slept through the night every night, NEVER complained, started eating solids the next morning, and loved his new scrubs! :)

Here he is not even 24 hours after his surgery!

Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers..they WORKED!

Christmas Eve we had a full house...Landon, me, Crystal, Skylah, Bryan, Gavin, Andy & Les (Skylahs dad and step-mom), Addison and Drew (Skylahs little brother and sister) I am so thankful to have them all as friends and be able to spend the holidays like we did! It was so fun having the 5 kiddos there!!

I sure have missed you all..it feels so good to be back!!

Oh yeah..I almost forgot..we were all doing a puzzle on Tuesday night watching American Idol, and the girl that auditioned in her bikini came on screen...

my little 6 year old PERV looked at the screen with his mouth open and said...

Are you freaking kidding me...I asked him what he was talking about, and then he proceeds to tell me..

100th Post!!! Q and A Time!

Well, well, its finally time for my 100th post! I thought I would go in true fashion and do a Q & A! Thanks for all of you with your questions!

What is the best concert you ever went to? Oh wow...there are so many! I am really a concert junkie! See this post and this one too!!! I think I might have to go with Madonna though! She rocked and who knows if she'll ever go on tour again, so it was fun to see her!

What was Landon's due date? Was he born on his due date? He was due on December 10th, but I had to be induced on December 12th! 12-12-02 @ 6:25 pm my little love was born weighing a whopping 10 lbs 3 oz! Being a December baby, they brought the babies in a Santa hat and put the babies in a stocking to your room for the first time. WELL...my big ol baby wouldn't fit in the stocking! They literally had to lay it on top of him!

Where is your dream vacation? I would love to go to Paris one day!

Would you like more children one day? Yes, actually I want 2 more! I would like them close in age though...lets just get through all the tough times at once! lol (can you tell its been 6 years since I've had a newborn...if I actually sat down and thought about it..I might re-consider!!)

If you won the lottery, what would you do? I would buy a house, payoff my car, pay off some debt, go on a little shopping spree and then try and save the rest! ;)


What is your favorite thing about yourself? I would like to think I am a good friend! I am very loyal to my friends and love them all very much!

Do you have any holiday traditions? Yes, I love the holidays! We always open one present (pjs) on Christmas Eve, go look at Christmas lights, and put together a gingerbread house! I always loved these traditions and it makes it so much more special doing them with Landon!

How do you manage to fit so much into your schedule and not be exhausted? Ahh...the question I get all the time!! You have to remember that I am single..which may seem like my life is harder (and some times it is!), but I only have Landon and I to worry about! I am very lucky to live with my best friend, Crystal who is a huge part of mine and Landons life! She cooks, I clean..she takes to school, I pick up.. ect! OK, I'm getting off the subject! In all honesty, I live to be on the go! We usually have errands, birthday parties, showers, ect every weekend! (surprise..like you didn't already know that! lol) I like my life like that! I dont go to bed until 12:00 or 1:00 in the morning...thats how I do it! I can manage with little sleep (for now)!

Does Landon (or you) have any contact with his father? I never remember you mentioning him in your blog...without going into too many details (only b/c this is a public blog!), no we don't. He hasn't seen Landon in almost a year and a half. Unfortunately for his sake, b/c he has no idea what he is missing. I trust that Landon will grow up to be a very confident person and learn in time (for himself, b/c he will never hear me say something negative) about his feelings for his father. Its a pretty tough situation, but he has so many friends and family in his life that love him so much!

Do you know Stephanie from "A Little Bit of Sugar & a Whole Lotta Spice" in real life? Somewhere along the way I got the impression that you know each other, but I'm not sure why...as a matter of fact, I DO! She is just as sweet, witty, and genuine in real life too! We went to school and were on drill team together! I just recently packed up all my high school pics and put them in the attic or I would find a pic of us to post! (Krystyn too!!)

Do you plan to always live in Texas? I am a Texan girl at heart! I don't see myself ever leaving Texas..much less the Houston/Katy area! If I did leave here it would be for Austin or Dallas, but that would take alot of thought! I love that my family lives so close to me and I could never live far away from them!

Why do you blog? Well, I started it originally to keep my friends and family up to date with our life! Little did I know that I would meet all you fantastic people! Its more of a daily journal that I really enjoy!!

DO your REAL IN LIFE FRIENDS understand the blogging thing or do you have some that give you that crazy look? OH I get that look ALL the time! Most of my friends don't get why I have it and why I talk and share my life with all these strangers!

When you are home how do you spend your time Relaxing? Define relaxing!!! lol I am a tv junkie...that is my down time! I love to DVR all the lovely reality shows and more! I also love to scrapbook! I haven't done anything since my Disney book, but come the first of the year, I'm back!


How long have you been a Single Mommy? 6 years! Since Day 1! Its all I know, so it just works for us!

Are you dating anyone? No, I only have time for one man in my life right now, and thats Landon!! lol I just dont put myself out there enough to meet anyone! When the time comes though, I'll be open to dating!

Who talked you into Blogging? {Was it Stephanie?? lol} Oh yes it was!! Steph and Krystyn actually! I had found their blogs and always thought about doing one! Little did I know I would be posting my 100th post now! ;)

If you had $500 to spend on YOURSELF, what would you do/buy? I would put it toward my new camera!!!

Do you like your job? What do you do? I actually love my job! (well, most of it!) I work at a car dealership as the used car administrator! I have been there 9 years..since right after graduation! They are really good about me taking off here and there for all of Landons activities! (and its less than 10 minutes from my house!!)

Where do you see yourself in five years? Ten years? With the love of my life, raising my 11 year old, 2 year old and another on the way, white picket fence, stay at home mom...oh sorry..I was dreaming there for a second! I just hope to be happy and loved! That dream isnt sounding too bad though!!

What is your favorite food? I love Mexican food!!

What do you want Landon to be when he grows up? Wow...are you trying to depress me?!?! lol I just want him to follow his dreams! At the moment he wants to be a police man and a rock star, so lets hope he changes his mind a little! lol

What are a few things you can't live without? Besides the obvious...probably my hairbrush and lipstick! All my friends make fun of me..I brush my hair ALL day as well as reapply lipstick! (maybe I should look into better lipstick now that I think about it! lol)

Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion next year? I go back and forth...I most likely will. I think I would regret it if I didnt. My thoughts are, the people I want to stay in touch with, I do, and the rest, theres probably a reason I dont see them anymore! haha Living here in Katy, I still run into ALOT of people from school! (I think I just had a panic attack when I realized our reunion is in 6 months..AHH!)

What's your favorite drink? You know, the fun alcoholic kind. :) Depends on my mood...its either strawberry margaritas, Bud Light, or a nice glass of Conundrum!
