I am thankful for many things this year, and am looking forward to a relaxing day with the family on Thursday!

Friday morning we are up and out the door for Black Friday..lots of shopping to do!! Wish me luck! (yes, I know I am crazy..I actually have alot of fun doing it though!!)

I just saw TWILIGHT!!!!

Ok, heres the deal...I promised no spoilers, so I will keep my word! BUT...

I am going to give my opinion, so if you dont want to hear it, DONT READ anymore!!! ;)

I'm not giving anything away, just what I think you might want to know before you see it!!

Just remember, you dont have to read!!!

I FREAKING LOVED IT!!!

I went with the Madonna group (+1) and we all thought it was great!!

To be honest, it might of had to do with the fact that I had heard nothing but BAD reviews ALL day :(

"Actors sucked" "Special Effects sucked" "Nothing like the book" (and no, not just from you Cara! lol)

I will agree with one thing...special effects sucked!

I think it helped too that I had looked at the cast before I saw the movie...I knew what to expect! (that was another complaint I heard...unrealistic actors!)

Other than that, the characters grew on me, I loved Bella, got used to Edward (he was a little stiff!), and thought they hit all the big events in the book pretty well!!

I'm a huge Alice fan, so I wanted more of her, but I guess I'll have to wait for the next 3 movies!! haha

Melissa (one of the girls w/ us!) brought us a copy of the soundtrack to the movie, so that was pretty fun too! There a few really good songs!!

So, I cant wait to hear what all my blog girls and CCBC thought of it!!

I think if you just realize NOONE could portray Edward (or any of the characters for that matter!) the was we see him when we read, and that the special effects are pretty lame, you will like it too!

Thursday Thirteen-Twlight Edition!!!

Since I know MOST of my blog friends are just as excited about this, I thought I would have a TT of all Twilight pics!!!

MADONNA and more!

As you ALL know, Madonna was here in Houston Sunday night!!!!!!!!!

We ended up meeting up with 3 other girls (that work w/ Nat) that were going and got a limo! So the 6 of us got to ride in style and head to the concert! I have more pics, but I'm waiting on the other girls to email their pics! I couldnt wait to post about it though! I guess I will just have to update when I get them!! We went to eat at Dolce Vita and had the best food and pomegranite martinis!!

Then back to the limo to go to Minute Maid Park!!

We have had our tickets for almost 6 months, so it was good to FINALLY go!!

She rocked...I mean, other than the stripper pole, kissing girls, flicking off the cameras (oh atleast 10 times), humping the floor (on many occasions), and having to look at a picture of Obama on the screen, it was pretty tame! HAHAHAHA

Surprisingly, we were 3 of the youngest people there! It was probably 60% gays, 30% older, die hard fans, and 10% couples that the girls forced the guys to come!! Well, I guess it was a bit more diverse, b/c we didnt fit into any of those categories! lol It was a pretty strange crowd though!!

So needless to say, my bday is officially over, but I think I did pretty good this year!!

There are so many things coming up soon, so each event I knock off my calendar the better! ;) Thanksgiving, Landons tonsillectomy, Lissas briday shower, Landons bday, here I come!!

We are going Friday night, and I am super excited! I cant wait to hear what everybody thinks about it! I hope we are not let down!

And, last but CERTAINLY not least, Landon got his second report card, and he got ALL pluses, E's and S's!!! (they dont have letter grades until 1st grade here!)

I am very proud of him! I think he was pretty proud himself too!! (especially after he got $10 from Nana!)

My little baby is growing up so much!

1. Finding out yesterday that I might get tickets to the Texans game this weekend AND having a ticket for Landon this time!!!!

2. My birthday is next week! (the 12th!) The big 28!

3. Going out to the Red Zone for my bday!

4. The MADONNA concert is finally here! Next Sunday Natalie, Crystal and I are headed out to PARTY like rockstars!!!

5. Getting Melissas bridal shower together! Just 4 more weeks..time to get busy!
